Never before have we been pampered as during our one-day trip to London, organised by Eurostar. Together with bloggers Immi, Jonas and Gilles we experienced a whole day in the style of ‘The Great Gatsby’. How better to start the day than with a visit to the bussiness lounge and a nice breakfast on the train? Once in London we visited Turnbull & Asser, which is famous for their tailored shirts, Bates, known for the beautiful hats, costume shop Favourbrook and shoemaker Foster & Son. At Franco’s, we enjoyed a Gatsby lunchmenu. The trip started back with tasty cocktails in the bussiness lounge and ended with a delicious champagne dinner on the train back. London, we will miss you!

I’m so glad we were finally able to photograph Maxime. Maxime is one of my classmate and has the best ‘personal style’ I know. She describes her own style as simple, androgynous and not trend focused. The best part about Maxime’s style is that it is very affordable and comfortable. She mixes expensive and cheaper pieces and has a monthly shopping budget of about 150 euros. Her favorite stores are American Vintage for basics and Zara (‘because it looks more expensive than it is’). If she would have a bigger budget, she would buy pieces of Surface to Air. Maxime’s maxiskirt look fits perfectly with the warm weather we have been having the last few days. I love the combo with the white leather oxford shoes. I just added a maxiskirt to my wardrobe and can’t wait to wear it!
