Do you know the feeling that certain garments have been created for you? A garment that fits within your budget, looks great on you, comes in your favourite color, is incredibly versatile, … a classic that you want to wear your whole life? I had this feeling with my beloved chinos from the Belgian brand Essentiel. A leopard / cameo printed pants in my khaki color, that I can dress up with high heels and bling bling, or wear casually with sneakers. But recently the unthinkable happened. One wrong move and the pants tore. I felt like crying. My favorite pants torn. But that happens when you wear them almost every day for two years. A week later, as a miracle, my mother sent me an email saying “your pants, in new condition and in your size, are up for auction on e-bay” (we are both quite e-bay addicts). So I bought them again. And I look forward to wearing them again for a few more years! (Nederlandse versie)
